Popular folkdance from Israel “Maim Maim”, express Spirit of SDGs (gender equality) by Japan-Israel Music collaboration

A Japanese drag queen Durian Lollobrigida created a video of "Maim Maim" in collaboration with Israeli famous DJ Offer Nissim. Inspired by the hidden story that this folk dance, which every Japanese knows, are actually from Israel, and was imported to utilize for the Japanese democracy education in postwar time, they brought it to life with today’s SDGs spirit by artist collaboration between Japan and Israel.

It is said that the dance of "Maim Maim", which holds hands in a circle, symbolizes the love and equality of humankind without discrimination.

The remix version of the outcome will be featured at the pride event in Tel Aviv on June 25 with Iran Pered,  writer and actor.
